We began building our raised garden beds a while back and completed them a few weeks ago. Since then the plants have been pushing up healthy and strong. In Uncategorized on March 31, 2010 at 3:34 amWe made planters with the high schoolers out of reclaimed wood. Each student decorated their planter with paints. The wood box liners are plastic shopping bags. It was a fun project and everyone got some hands on experience growing plants. Tomatoes were the crop of choice but the herbs ended up working out the best with the size of most of the boxes.
