Hello all urban farming enthusiasts, artists, and growers who have come to browse our humble blog. The Art Farm project has been moving steadily along. We began building our raised garden beds a while back and completed them a few weeks ago. Since then the plants have been pushing up healthy and strong. We also began and finished the foundation for our main structure. You may remember a post a while back about collecting tires. Well those tires have been put to good use. Here are some pictures of our progress.

Tomatoes were the crop of choice but the herbs ended up working out the best with the size of most of the boxes.

In Uncategorized on March 31, 2010 at 3:17 amThe artistic director for Artplay Theo Bunch made a pilgrimage with Eva Hall to Baker Creek Heritage Seeds to start
a dialogue. We will be using there seeds in our urban farm. They are a fantastic company, and shortly
after our visit sent us a large donation of seed. Thanks to them
we will have a varied and plentiful harvest.
